Meet the Maker

Howdy! My name is Elena Silvestrini and I am the one woman behind everything that is Snake Hawk Studio. I currently reside in the small mountain town of Bailey, Colorado where I fabricate each piece you see here in my home studio. 

Creating has always played an important role in my life, however it was not until I discovered the art of silversmithing that I truly felt my full potential as an artist bloom and flourish. My artistic style has been heavily influenced by the natural world since I began my artistic endeavors. From the coastal farmlands of Northern California where I was raised to the Rocky Mountains where I now call home, I cannot help but find an abundance of inspiration within my natural surroundings. When I'm not buried in silver, you can find me exploring the hiking trails around my home, camping with my friends, getting dirty in my garden, cooking and baking new recipes, or cuddling my dog Juniper.
